Position Summary

  • Provide coverage as back-up for Team Leader Schedule overtime and absenteeism.

  • Assist with attendance and O/T records, Inventories and relief coverage if needed.

  • Cover for excessive absenteeism.

  • Capable of learning SAP.

  • Be able to perform detailed part measurement per Control Plans using lab equipment for all ACAM/BSA machines & Stamping Presses providing immediate feedback to Operators/Team Leaders and Mechanics.

  • Capable of certifying in the basic machine operation on Presses, Automated Cartridge Assembly Machines (ACAM) and Blade Sub Assembly (BSA) including unloading and loading materials, starting, stopping, and restarting machine, completing required daily paperwork, clearing jams, and camera faults.

  • Will be called on to assist with light maintenance tasks.

  • Possess troubleshooting skills and a mechanical aptitude.

  • Be able to train new operators/team members to all dept Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, Control Plans, and Forms. Perform on-machine training with new individuals as well as conduct certifications for trainees in parallel with written documents.

  • Coach Operator A's that are training others.

  • Provide daily rotating floor support to ALL departmental machinery, paying particular attention to units that are not achieving production rates, and ensuring consistent best-practice techniques are utilized by all Operators on crew.

  • Monitor scrap levels on ACAM/BSA machines and provide assistance to Operators in helping identify top reasons for scrap, as well as a corresponding reaction plan.

  • Check parts for quality attributes, sample, isolate and re-audit questionable product, and customer/supplier communications.

  • As production equipment advances through the debug stages and into full production mode, candidates may be required to run 2 machines.


Physical Demands:


Be able to move (push, pull, or otherwise manipulate) materials up to 30lbs.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Preference will be given to colleagues with prior Saturn machinery experience. Must be able to train on and be certified on all departmental machinery within probationary period.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
